Crewing a micro budget gay film-noir feature film shooting this July / August / September

Down is the story of a middle aged man, who tries to get over a past lover by having a hedonistic weekend, that turns dark as the drugs kick in. The film will be in black & white and have a European vibe. Similar to Gasper Noe’s- LOVE & Vortex Lars Von Trier – Nymphomaniac – Antichrist, Yorgos Lanthimos – Dogtooth and/or Alain Guiraudie – Stranger by the lake.

Must be comfortable with nudity and adult situations.

Must be fully vax and boosted, (proof required)

This is will be a SAG Ultra low budget feature. I know it’s not much money but it will be a decent film in the end.

Roles

Director of Photography with kit – Looking for someone who can do low light / natural light. FILM WILL BE IN B&W. Female DPs are encouraged to apply. Please have a 4k minimum camera (like sony A7) $2k – $2500k – Flat rate

Sound Recorder with Gear – mostly interior shoot (70%) 2-3 people talking. A few exterior shots with 2 people. $1500.00 – $2k – Flat rate

Hair & Make up with kit – Please be able to work with POC with different skin tones. Also some special effects, bruises, and blood. $750 – $1000 Flat Rate + kit expenses.

PA – Looking for a few, some will be administrative some will be set please state your preferences – $15 per hour / Part – Time and as needed. Flexible. Administrative PA can be remote.

Intimacy Coordinator – 2 – 4 days – at the SAG Ultra Low Budget rate

Set Dresser – This is for a few days – $20 per hour. FLexible days.

Prop Person – This is for a few days – $20 per hour. FLexible days.
