Godfather
There’s a great piece on the making of FFC’s “Godfather,” over at the Telegraph. In it, they talk about all the problems getting the film to the screen including the writer trying to get his book published eight publishers passed on it. Even with the success they didn’t give only 50k for the finished book for the film rights. The crazy thing is they gave 35k to Pacino for his part in MICHAEL.

It’s a great read and you get a better insight to how the other side works, check it out here.
