An inspiring story about an inspiring man. In my early days of dreaming about being a great filmmaker in the 1970s, I aspired to make the simple beautiful “contrasty” black and white movies I remembered in my youth. I never became a great filmmaker, only a hack videographer for TV, but I still dream in black and white. To hear that Maestro Coppola is going back to his roots and making a lovely B&W movie, on his own terms, is inspiring. I can’t wait to see it.
