A great tip: FCP and External Editors

Posted by admin under: Editing; Final Cut Pro .

Here’s a great tip from Creative Cow on adding your external editors to FCP.  External Editors are applications that handle different media for FCP, for example Images and graphics to be edited and modified in Adobe’s Photoshop.   The trip has a great way of adding alpha channels as TIFF instead of the PDF extention so that you don’t have too many timelines / tracks.   Great tip and great time saver.
